Animals vs Humans

I am watching Animal Planet and see how wild animals like tigers, lions, hyenas, etc. hunts food for survival. While watching, a question popped out of my mind... What if we are not the superior ones to the animals in this earth? What if today is like the medieval time or stone age period where we don't have the weapons, modern technologies, etc. Do you think we can survive our daily living if we know that these kind of animals are just around, watching us, or waiting for us to lower our guards and then they will attack us? I'd say these animals will definitely kick our Ass if we don't have this modern technologies or modern weapons to depend ourselves. What do you think? How say you?
